Many feel that Frigiliana is one of the most beautiful villages in the whole of Spain with some beautiful property. Arriving in Frigiliana  you are greeted by a jewel of a village – shimmering in the sunlight - in typical andalusian style with whitewashed walls and rejas over the windows. Frigiliana itself has not been spoilt by some of the more aggressive property building of the 1960's and 70's when property developers relished in edifying huge concrete blocks. A trip to Torremolinos or Benalmadena will verify what happened back then. Fortunately most properties in Frigilaina are built on 1, 2 or 3 levels, trying hard to retain the character that has made Frigilaina what it is today.
